Photos: The Lost Marilyn Nudes—Outtakes from Her Last On-Set Photo Shoot
It was the assignment of an ambitious young photographer’s dreams: capturing Hollywood’s sexiest star for Look magazine in 1960. Lawrence Schiller’s chemistry with Marilyn Monroe seemed promising, and their professional relationship deepened when he photographed her on the set of her final, never-finished movie, Something’s Got to Give. The breathtaking nude shots from that shoot, some unpublished till now.

Marilyn and Her Monsters
For all the millions of words she has inspired, Marilyn Monroe remains something of a mystery. Now a sensational archive of the actress’s own writing—diaries, poems, and letters—is being published. With exclusive excerpts from the book, Fragments, the author enters the mind of a legend: the scars of sexual abuse; the pain of psychotherapy; the betrayal by her third husband, Arthur Miller; the constant specter of hereditary madness; and the fierce determination to master her art.

Sounds of a Pond

A very relaxing UTube of birds on a pond.

Albert Brooks in "Vanity Fair"

Interesting interview of Albert Brooks  where he talks about going to school with kid of famous parents, handing out with John Lennon, doing movies and advice on marriage.

From Vanity Fair...
"Sometimes undersold, always ahead of his time, Albert Brooks has made a festival’s worth of classics—Modern Romance, Lost in America, Defending Your Life, etc. The Oscar-nominated actor-writer-director gets into it with Judd Apatow, who directed Brooks in this month’s This Is 40, on topics great and small: his neuroses, his marriage, his Twitter feed, John Lennon, death, and integrity."
